Auditorium fire disrupts school day at Columbus North

Columbus firefighters responded to reported fire at Columbus North High School’s auditorium at 7:44 a.m. this morning.

Capt. Mike Wilson with the fire department said the school was evacuated but that the fire was out when firefighters arrived. Firefighters remained on scene to remove smoke from the building. The fire is under investigation and classes have resumed at the school.
