Three local men were arrested this week, accused of stealing from a salvage yard in Jennings County.

Jennings County deputies report that they stopped a pickup leaving Bud’s Salvage Yard on County Road 750N at about 11:27 p.m. Monday night. Deputies were responding to a business alarm at that location.

The bed of the pickup was full of items including wheels and catalytic converters. The yard’s owner confirmed that those items had been stolen.

Facing preliminary theft charges are: 21-year-old Montana E.  Dayton of Edinburgh; 33-year-old Joshua C. Kirby of Hope and 22-year-old Levi W.  Sear of Flat Rock.
