Columbus Police are inviting you to chat with officers over a free cup of coffee on Wednesday morning.

Lt. Matt Harris says that officers will be on hand at the Columbus Chick-Fil-A from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. to speak with residents. Harris explains that CPD began participating in this program earlier in the year to have the opportunity to speak to the community away from the police station and in a more relaxed atmosphere. “We look forward to meeting with residents about listening to concerns that are important to them. We have seen a lot of people stop by to talk with our officers to get to know them better,” said Harris.
