Indiana State Police say that a missing elderly man has been discovered safe in Florida. Police had been looking for 78-year-old Tommy Dale Allman who went missing on his way from Scottsburg to Columbus to visit family yesterday.

Police say that Allman was traveling to visit family and was last heard from Tuesday morning at 7:33 a.m. when he was en route from Scottsburg to Columbus.
