The University Library of Columbus will be holding its second annual Comiccon event on Thursday for fans of comic books and graphic novels.

This year’s event will be twice the size of the first event last year says Bethany Messersmith, director of the Ivy Tech library.

The event will have artists and writers of comic books, comic book stores and the Bartholomew County Public Library showing off its graphic novels collection, plus other activities.

The comic convention will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Columbus Learning Center on Central Avenue and it is free to attend.
