Pence, Columbus native, heads to Washington as vice president

Donald Trump has won election as president and he will be taking Columbus native and Indiana Gov. Mike Pence with him as his vice president.

Our news-gathering partners at Network Indiana are reporting that the Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies have already begun the process of stepping up security at the governor’s residence. Law enforcement officials told Network Indiana that serious discussions have occurred about even closing down the streets around the house including Meridian Street, 46th Street and Illinois Street.
