Authorities arrest two Brown County men on meth charges

The Brown County Sheriff’s Department, with help from Indiana State Police, arrested two residents for allegedly dealing meth.

The department says that deputies, with ISP in tow, executed two arrest warrants on Thursday. The first warrant targeted Joseph Weddle, of Hornettown Road, on two counts of Dealing in Methamphetamine, one count as a Level 4 Felony the other as a Level 5 Felony. Authorities say that Weddle’s arrest followed from an investigation that lasted nearly one year. Weddle was located and arrested without incident.

Also on Thursday, authorities arrested David Guy of Old Settlers Road. He was wanted on three counts of Dealing in Methamphetamine, one count as a Level 4 Felony and the others as a Level 5 Felony. Guy was also located and arrested without incident.

Both men are being held in the Brown County Jail.
