A Jennings County traffic stop Saturday night led to two drug arrests.
The sheriff’s department reports that deputies stopped the vehicle on County Road 500W near 500N at about 10:35 Saturday night. Jennings County police dog Vampir alerted to the smell of drugs inside the vehicle.
Deputies discovered digital scales and several small plastic bags of drugs with about 26 grams of methamphetamine, according to police reports.
A passenger, 37-year-old Michael Bowling of North Vernon is facing preliminary charges of dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and visiting or maintaining a common nuisance.
The driver, 34-year-old Toby Marsh of North Vernon is facing charges of operating a vehicle with a suspended license and visiting or maintaining a common nuisance.
