Hope to host Christmas of Yesteryear festivities Friday

The Town of Hope will be offering a trip to Christmas of Yesteryear on Friday with the annual event on the Town Square.

Barb Johnson with the Yellow Trail museum says that there will be carriage rides leaving every 10 minutes with historical tours of the town. those rides will be $2 and will leave from Norman Cabin.

There will also be strolling carolers, a living nativity scene, performances by historical re-enactors,  cookie making at the Yellow Trail Museum and other activities including skits by the Hauser Historians.

The Town Square will be decorated with Christmas lights and shops will also be open late around the square. Johnson said you can enter a drawing for a $75 gift certificate by stopping at the the local merchants.

Events will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18th.
