Police continue to investigate a Wednesday afternoon murder-suicide involving a Seymour couple.

“The Seymour Tribune” is reporting that the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department is looking into the deaths of 42-year-old Jason K. Jackson, and 42-year-old Brandi Jo Jackson, at their home in the 5900 block of Spring Meadow Lane.

Sheriff Michael Carothers told the newspaper that the couple’s son found them dead from gunshot wounds after he returned home from work Wednesday.

Autopsies are scheduled for 8 a.m. Friday.
