I-65 traffic-shift to begin Monday near Edinburgh

The Indiana Department of Transportation plans to shift traffic Monday on State Road 252 at Interstate 65’s overpass near Edinburgh. Officials say that the eastbound and westbound lanes will be shifted to the right approaching I-65 ramps. This will void State Road 252’s center section to accommodate construction operations.

The traffic pattern is expected to continue for approximately two weeks.

Milestone is INDOT’s contractor for this two-year $12 million rehabilitation project to widen and reconstruct or resurface State Road 252 between I-65 and Flat Rock. INDOT says that this year’s work concentrates on replacing concrete pavement at I-65.
