Greensburg man dies in van-semi collision

Indiana State Police are reporting that a Greensburg man was killed in a two-vehicle accident Sunday when his mini-van crashed head-on into a semi.

The crash happened near Napoleon on U.S. 421, in Ripley County about 3:25 p.m. yesterday. According to state police reports, 30-year-old William Minch Jr. was killed when his vehicle crossed the centerline and hit the semi driven by 39-year-old John Hobbs from Connersville.

Hobbs was uninjured but Minch was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no word yet on what caused Minch to cross the centerline. The accident remains under investigation. collision
