The Columbus post office will be one of several in the area opening up for Sunday hours for the next few weekends, leading up to Christmas.

Mary Dando, spokeswoman for the Indiana post offices, said that the local post office will have Sunday hours from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 6th, Dec. 13th, and Dec. 20th. The Greenwood and Bloomington post office will be open the same hours.

In Seymour and Bedford, the post office will be open from noon to 4 p.m. on those Sundays.
