While you are waiting for the the Festival of Lights Parade in downtown Columbus to start Saturday night, there is plenty to do.
Shanda Sasse, manager of The Commons, says the city facility will be hosting its third annual Christmas village from 1 to 5 p.m. The event will feature a local crafts fair, live music and a performance by magician Travis Easterling.
Sasse said there will also be a model railroad downstairs at The Commons.

She said there is also an appearance scheduled by a certain jolly old elf.
The parade starts downtown at 6 p.m.
